Our Commitment;

How do your DJs Dress?
We are dressed for the event whether its casual or formal. 


Can we control the Music?
You are the boss and we will do whatever you want. We will advise you from our years of experience, and suggest that you give the DJ some flexibility if your goal is to get people on the dance floor. We are experienced and know how to get different crowds on the dance floor and if there are too many restrictions on the music, it can impede that process, but you have full control over the music. 


Can we burn a CD for the DJ to play, or email the songs to you?
Yes. This is a good idea, to ensure that you have the right version of the song played that you want. We need the CD no later than 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure it plays in our system or so we can convert it to a Digital File. 


Do your disc jockeys take any breaks or pauses from playing music?
The music never stops, except during the toast. 


What happens prior to the wedding? 

We have a detailed reception planner to fill out so you can design the music and the atmosphere you want for your reception. 


When do you need our song list?The reception worksheet is due 2 weeks before your wedding.


Can guests make song requests? How many (and what types) of music will the DJ bring to the event?
Yes, although we filter those requests to the event & to what the Bride & Groom want. We mostly use Digital Equipment and bring everything from Glenn Miller Band to Usher for example on your wedding night. We are equipped to handle every type of crowd. 


Do you have backup DJ's in case of sickness?
We shall be excused if any of the following may happen. Sickness, accidents, or any other legitimate condition beyond Gateway Mobile DJ Service’s control. If such circumstances arise, Gateway Mobile DJ Service will make a reasonable effort to find comparable replacement entertainment at no additional charge to Purchaser. Should Gateway Mobile DJ Service be unable to procure a replacement, Purchaser shall receive a full refund of all fees paid to Gateway Mobile DJ Service. 


Purchaser also agrees that in all such circumstances, Gateway Mobile DJ Service’s liability shall be exclusively limited to refunding the fees paid and that Gateway Mobile DJ Service shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from any breach of contract.


How early do you typically arrive before an event? Do you charge for the set up time?

1 1/2 to 2 hours before the event to set up & usually 1 hour prior to start time, which we don’t charge you for.


What is your event cancellation policy?
This agreement cannot be canceled or modified except by mutual written consent of both the Purchaser and Gateway Mobile DJ Service. If cancellation is initiated by the Purchaser in writing and agreed to by Gateway Mobile DJ Service in writing, Purchaser will be required to pay (in addition to the deposit) any unrecoverable costs already incurred by Gateway Mobile DJ Service (but not more than the total fee agreed upon), and a $100.00 cancellation fee. Otherwise Purchaser shall be obligated to make full payment of the total fee agreed upon. We generally don't give refunds, especially if cancelled 6 weeks within the wedding date.


Can you DJ/MC our event? Can you provide a microphone?
Yes, This is what usually separates a high end DJ from a low end DJ. We provide a Cordless Mic so anyone wishing to speak, can do so from anywhere in the reception room, and we’ll communicate with Caterer, photographer etc.

 
How many months in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date?
For Spring & Fall Weddings we book up about 9 months to a year in advance. For Summer and Winter Weddings about 6-9 months in advance.

We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, & Personal Checks
